Solargrafica

Installation by Andreas Zingerle, 2007-2008

Solargrafica records the paths of the sun by using a lensless camera with exposure times from 1 day to 6 months.
5 camera modules are mounted on tripods. Inside the camera modules you see one photograph. A loudspeaker is mounted in the bottom of the module. A soundscape of recorded and with a granular synthesis processed samples is played on a 5 channel sound installation. The visitior can change the mix of the samples and vary the channel output by his movement within the installation.
